Born and raised in rural Eastern Ontario, Arlette always had a knack for art. Inspired by quaint settings in her surroundings and travels, she is always striving to reveal the beauty in the ordinary.
Through each painting, Arlette aims to capture a fleeting moment in time. Fascinated by the play of light and shadows on different surfaces, she enjoys the challenge of painting such light, reflection and shadows in oil on canvas. Creating art gives her much joy along with the hope that people will take pleasure in viewing her work.
